ADHD treatment gives children and teens a space to be themselves
Many children and teens feel ashamed for struggling where others don’t. However, ADHD therapy offers your child radical acceptance—a chance to be seen and heard without judgment.
It gives younger kids the opportunity to learn about themselves and address issues of sadness, frustration, and low self-esteem in an age-appropriate way. And for teens, ADHD treatment provides a space in which they can feel safe while cultivating greater self-awareness and developing practical strategies for managing their symptoms.
As a parent, counseling gives you a resource for asking questions, processing your emotions, and saying what’s really on your mind. And because I offer 20-minute coaching sessions to teach parents about ADHD, you’ll be able to reflect on your child’s behavioral patterns and begin measuring your responses and parenting choices intentionally.
